Castellinaldo d'Alba and its Surroundings

Local food specialities and fine wines in Castellinaldo d'Alba (CN)

News and Events
Our B&B, Il Bosco delle Torte, is in Castellinaldo, in the hilly region of Roero. Castellinaldo is a small village with its 900 inhabitants, and is situated on a hill ridge on top of which an imposing castle dating back to the 12th century rises.

The town is: only 12 kilometres away from Alba, a renowned food and wine destination known throughout the world for the excellence of its products; and 21 kilometres away from Bra, which is the birthplace of the 'Slow Food' movement.
We are therefore in a land characterised by delicious flavours and that offers famous wines, the vaunted white truffle of Alba, fine beef selections, cheeses, hazelnuts and juicy and sugary fruits such as peaches and strawberries.

If you decide to stay in our bed & breakfast, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the local food specialities and the fine wines offered by our fertile land.

In the surroundings of our B&B

The reason why a lot of wine is produced in our area lies in the dense vineyards that surround the town and create different varieties of fine wines such as Roero, Roero Arneis, Nebbiolo d'Alba, Favorita, and Barbera d'Alba.

If you visit the numerous wineries present in the territory of our municipality, you will be able to discover and taste the best of the wines from the area of Roero.

Please come and enjoy the wholesome flavours of our local food specialities, which are renowned for their quality!

Walking in medieval settings

Both the area of Castellinaldo and that of the neighbouring municipalities are rich in wooded areas and interesting naturalistic spaces, where you can walk or organise excursions in the nature.
Walking along the streets of the town, you can admire characteristic medieval settings and savour the local food specialities in the shops and restaurants in the town.
